Brave Troubadours is an educational series, showcasing today's frontline musical activists. Each live episode offers 60+ minutes of song and conversation - an entertaining and inspiring virtual roundtable that explores music's capacity to move the needle on the issues of our time such as civil rights, climate advocacy, poverty, and health. Meet artists on the frontlines of change, bring your questions and learn how to take some music-driven action of your own.

May's episode honors Immigration Advocacy and will look at  the immigrant experience in the United States through the lens of three dedicated musician change makers:  Enrique Chi is a member of the indie band Making Movies, and founder of Art as Mentorship, and its related fundraising and multi-media arm AMERI'KANA which explores the diverse influences of American music. Amanda Pascali is an internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter and founder of the Immigrant American Folk Project which uses music to foster a sense of belonging among immigrants and first-generation Americans. Taiyo Na, is a writer, educator and musician whose work spans two decades of cultural and pedagogical contributions to urban communities.

Artists will be joined by Emcee, Liz Stookey Sunde, Executive Director of Music to Life.

NOTE: Both Amanda and Taiyo are featured on our HOPE RISES album, available for sale or download here.
