Professor Bartleet teaches at Griffith University (Australia), is an ARC Future Fellow at the Creative Arts Research Institute and a Fulbright Senior Scholar at NYU Steinhardt (USA). As President of Social Impact of Music Making Association and Co-Editor of the compendium, Music as a Global Resource, Professor Bartleet is an expert in the use of music as a measurable tool for social change. She joins SWP leaders, Yoshie Nayama and Utako Toyama, along with Music to Life’s Executive Director, Liz Stookey Sunde, for a discussion of best practices in music-driven programming that moves the needle on the global issues of our time. Bring a curious mind; time permitting, we will welcome audience questions!

Change the World with Music is a new online series that will offer insights into building music-driven approaches to community healing for musicians, allies and stakeholders around the world. Future sessions will include musicians and practitioners with hands-on experience in topics such as: approaching and securing funding and partnerships, effectively engaging or launching social movements, and authentically branding yourself as a social change artist.
