Music to Life hosts its first HOPE RISES showcase at the Folk Alliance International (FAI) conference in Kansas City, Missouri. FAI is a community and global network of musicians and sector leaders that uplift the ethos of Folk and push the genre forward.
The HOPE RISES showcase features some of the best social change musicians in the country, each of whom is featured either on Music to Life’s HOPE RISES album or as a Juried or Accelerator Artist (a practicing musician who is actively pursuing significant work as a musician changemaker.)
The evening offers an inspiring and eclectic listening experience, with artists across genres, generations and geographies, each performing a 15-minute set. Showcase space is intimate, giving the audience an opportunity to truly connect with each other and the artists.
Included below is a run of show with a link to each artist’s profile which includes their social media handles and bios. We encourage you to learn more about them beyond the mic, connect and support their work!
