Kamica King

Kamica King is a soul singer-songwriter, board-certified music therapist, and Founder/CEO of King Creative Arts Expressions (KCAE) which specializes in interactive, arts-based programs that promote health and social-emotional wellness.

As seen on NBC, ABC and Fox, Kamica has been featured as a speaker, clinician, and vocalist around the nation and has performed in concert halls and venues around the country.  She is an official Artist of the Texas State Touring Roster, and City of Dallas’ Office of Arts & Culture.

Strategic partnerships centered on healing, inclusion, and community-building have enabled her to develop music-infused experiences to support the wellbeing of students, under-resourced communities, people experiencing homelessness, children with special needs, and persons with mental health needs. Kamica has served as regional representative for the American Music Therapy Association's DEI committee, steering committee member of the Black Music Therapy Network and serves on the Mayor's Star Council.  She is also a 2020 graduate of Music to Life's Accelerator program, an incubator for social change musicians, connecting them with the resources and mentors they need to create measurable change in their communities..
