Adrian and Meredith

The folk duo and 5-person band Adrian and Meredith have toured extensively since forming in 2015, playing over 150 shows per year across the USA and Europe. Their music fuses punk attitude, folk heart, polka flavor, and swing bounce. As one reviewer described, they "turn out a style that might be what alt-country would sound like today if it had been born in Green Bay instead of St. Louis.”
In 2023, they recorded a new EP at Dial Back Records in Oxford, MS with members of bands like Squirrel Nut Zippers, Punch Brothers, and Mighty Poplar. Adrian and Meredith will release the EP in early 2024 and tour the US and Europe over the summer in support. They plan to perform at festivals like Blissfest, Wheatland Festival, and 30A Songwriters Festival, as well as theaters and outdoor venues nationwide.

Their 2016 debut album More Than a Little was produced by Mark Robertson and featured guests like JD Wilkes of Th'Legendary Shackshakers and Fats Kaplin of Jack White's band. They have sold over 2,500 copies independently from their 1994 caravan named "Martha.” Reviewers have praised their "enthusiasm and charm" and described their sound as combining "klezmer, power pop, ska, New Orleans swing and blues rock." Their songs cover "romantic joys and dramas, the vagaries of getting old and the theft of a keishka.” Come see their “barn-burner” live show that No Depression calls “Roots Rock Perfection!"
