Lady J Huston

St. Louis Blues Sensation - Lady J Huston (pronounced Houston), is a multi-award-winning vocalist, trumpeter, songwriter, & producer, intertwining Jazz, R&B, & Gospel. Graduating Valedictorian, she accepted a music scholarship to Howard University, eventually earning a B.S.B.A. Degree from the University of Redlands (CA). Her career began as a child dancer on shows produced by her song-stylist mother. Just in her teens, she performed with Rock & Roll Hall of Famers; Johnnie Johnson, & toured with Blues legend, Albert King rising to music director, where they performed alongside greats such as B.B. King, Etta James, & Muddy Waters.

Residing in Las Vegas for 25 years, she was later heralded as the LV Queen of Blues with her band being inducted into the ECE Hall of Fame. In 2018, "The Lady J Huston Show" debuted at the National Blues Museum. Her “Albert King Alumni Tribute Show” headlined at the Music at the Intersection festival alongside Erykah Badu, Buddy Guy, Gary Clark, Jr., and others.

Lady J’s “Groove Me Baby” album is receiving rave reviews & awards that include, a 2023 Blues Blast Magazine Music Award, a Hollywood Independent Music Award nomination for "Hide-Away," (1st released on the St. Louis Blues Society’s album) among others. She is also featured on the Missouri Blues Society’s debut album.
