Lisa Redfern
With 11 solo recordings to her credit, award-winning singer and songwriter Lisa Redfern has opened for some of her favorites: The Roches, Dave Mallett, Livingston Taylor, Cindy Kallet and has shared duets with Pete Seeger. For 10 years she produced a popular "Songwriters in the Round Series" - one in Marin County, CA and one here in Midcoast, Maine. Lisa has taught songwriting with small children, at risk and asylum seeker students, and the elderly. She is a Teaching Artist with DocuSong. Lisa was commissioned to write a ballad for Penobscot Indian elder and WW2 hero, Charles Shay, and was honored to sing it for him on DDay in Normandy a few years ago.
