Jeri Katherine Howell
Jeri Katherine Howell is a Folk/Americana singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist from Frankfort, Kentucky, creating at the intersection of social and ecological justice, wellbeing, and the fullness of our shared human experience. She commands performances with her dynamic voice, thought-provoking lyrics, quality musicianship, and joyful presence. Jeri Katherine has been writing, performing, teaching and collaborating with musicians for over 15 years, touring across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Japan, while being rooted in her Kentucky home. Jeri Katherine’s artistic, academic, and cultural organizing achievements have been recognized by the U.S. Department of State Fulbright and Alumni TIES programs and the Kentucky Foundation for Women. In recognition of artistic excellence, Jeri Katherine Howell has been selected to participate in the Performing Artists Directory and Teaching Artists Directory, programs of the Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, which is supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
