Jenn Howd
Jenn Howd (they/them) is a multi-disciplinary outsider artist, currently focusing on sound art. As a non-binary creator, Jenn’s work delves into themes of identity, nature, and connection, blending found sounds with improvisation to craft immersive, collaborative sonic experiences. They co-created community ambient jams with NKY musician Nora Barton, where they combine their sound art, community-building skills, and experience as a certified mindfulness facilitator to create spaces for collective sound exploration and expression.
In addition to their sound art, Jenn co-wrote "Texas Annie: The Legend of the Moan Ranger," an original musical comedy theatre piece, and produced its concept album. The work challenges societal norms around sexual freedom, while pushing artistic boundaries and celebrating queer identity through music and innovative storytelling.
