Anamieke Quinn

Anamieke Quinn is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/upright bassist, festival organizer, former full time gigging musician-turned-high school Latin teacher (pandemic!) and mom who is deeply passionate about promoting original music and encouraging others to pursue dreams as artists. A seasoned acoustic troubadour, Anamieke can also be seen with her 7pc western psych rock band Treasurefruit, or on the upright with longstanding collaborations like the bilingual Latin folk-fusion activist group Las Chollas Peligrosas, or vintage Western swing yodeling trio Motel Arizona and the occasional ska/reggae band. Other collabs include Scattered Melodies and side projects Opera Lovers, Tariff-By-The-Sea and The Fruit Stripes. Founder of the 150 band/20 venue/3 day Sidepony Express Music Festival (14 years strong) and community organizer, Ms. Quinn is fierce about artistic integrity and supporting people who put music first and believe in art for art’s sake. Alongside that effort, she’s developing a non-profit to encourage civic engagement at the local level within the independent touring musician sector who sometimes disconnect from the machine, which can serve as a foundation for a future national network of tour stops, non-corporate venues and career resources. A USC Music Industry graduate with a background in record label marketing PR, artist development, booking and publishing, Anamieke has worked on all sides and levels of the industry and is focused on big picture visions of sustainability and preservation of what’s left of the world of rock and roll and art-forward music.
