Roz Malone
Roslyn (Roz) Malone (she/her) is a saxophonist and vocalist originally from North Alabama, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. A Middle Tennessee State University graduate, Roz has established herself as a dynamic presence in the music industry. She has shared the stage with artists such as Keith Urban, Victor Wooten, Jennifer Hudson, and Chris Stapleton. Known for her rich, soulful sound, Roz’s music transcends genre boundaries, resonating with audiences of all ages, especially younger listeners.
In addition to her performance career, Roz is an active freelance musician, deeply involved in Nashville’s thriving community of emerging artists. She collaborates widely across the city, contributing to its evolving musical landscape and fostering connections within the industry.
Beyond her musical accomplishments, Roz is the founder of Saxual Healing, a program that harnesses the power of music therapy to empower women. Saxual Healing is dedicated to helping women of all ages heal from trauma, guiding them from a place of survival to one of thriving. This initiative underscores Roz’s commitment to using her art as a vehicle for advocacy, offering support and transformation through music.
