Marwan Nassar
Marwan Nassar first picked up a guitar as a kid and discovered more than just music—he found a sense of identity and a safe space to grow. Access, however, didn’t come easily; he didn’t have the chance to study music until high school. Looking back, he wished he had access to music earlier, because of how deeply it shaped his confidence and self-esteem. That spark eventually carried him from classrooms to stages at SXSW, international festivals, Filipino national TV, and collaborations with GRAMMY-winning artists. Along the way, Marwan became a credentialed music educator, committed to giving students the kind of opportunities he once longed for himself.
Out of the belief in the power of music to change lives, Marwan started Treehouse Music. Today, Marwan’s vision is to expand access so every student—no matter their background—can experience the same growth, connection, and joy of self-expression that music gave him.
